Minimize operational risks with forklift collision avoidance, autonomous emergency management, and simulation-based training technologies

As Maxion Wheels, through our open innovation platform İnci Radar, we invite technology developers and startups to collaborate with us on reshaping safety and operational continuity in high-risk production and warehouse environments.

With this call, we aim to co-develop innovative, real-time solutions that reduce forklift–pedestrian risks, eliminate blind-spot incidents, enhance emergency response with automated accountability systems, and elevate safety awareness through advanced training technologies.

Specific Problem/Need/Opportunity Area

In production and warehouse areas, forklift traffic is one of the highest-risk zones in terms of both employee safety and operational continuity. Blind spots, heavy shift traffic and shared forklift–pedestrian routes significantly increase collision and near-miss risks.

In emergency situations, manual headcounts in muster areas create risks of time loss, human error and communication complexity.

In addition, traditional occupational health and safety training methods can be limited in terms of practical application and learning effectiveness in the field. By using modern training technologies, employee safety awareness can be enhanced, and error-free execution of safety procedures can be supported.

For this reason, Maxion Wheels and İnci Radar are seeking smart systems enabled by real-time monitoring, automated warning mechanisms and advanced training technologies.

Expectations from Technology Supplier

  • Systems that monitor forklift and pedestrian movements in real time and detect collision risks in advance
  • Solutions that inform operators and employees through smart warning mechanisms and, when necessary, trigger automatic slow-down or stop scenarios
  • Systems that automatically identify employees at emergency muster points and perform error-free headcounts
  • Data and reporting dashboards that capture key metrics such as near-miss incidents, muster completion times and missing personnel
  • Training solutions that enhance occupational health and safety programs through AR/VR or simulation-based content integrated into field practice
  • Scalable solutions that can be integrated with existing ERP, WMS, occupational health and safety software, and access control/badge systems
